Well few years ago when the makers were doing some promo for the movie in Finland one of the bits they revealed was that one of the Bush girls is the president of USA in the movie (but they might have changed it at some point. )

I just nocited what seems to be some sort of mecha in space. Also, President Palin-lookalike is wrong, Bush 1 did not get reelected after the Gulf War.
