I'm a little disappointed that they couldn't get DNA samples from the bones, but it's still an interesting discovery.

First it was the ones in Europe, now it's the ones in Morocco. I'm wondering if there are any other incredibly old human bones somewhere else still yet to be found.

I also wonder: How long can these bones possibly stay in tact?

They are fossils, not bones, so they don't have biological matter left anymore. I guess they will survive until they end up in the mantle and melt away.
