If you're going to oppose strawmen, at least be consistent.

And just because it's a meme, doesn't mean it's not a protest sign.  Memes have been used in protests.

You're being unfair.  Certainly, some MRAs act like that, but most are perfectly normal people.  It's just that the worst of them tend to be the loudest.

I've often heard it (accurately) described that the MRA movement blames women for the actions of other men.

I haven't really seen MRAs complaining that it's their fellow men oppressing them, and I want to see that because it would be a welcome change of pace.

By the way, I don't have to be a mod to say this... but it would be best to keep the insults to Flame and Burn.  Ultimate Paragon even has a thread dedicated to him, though it's titled Dynamic Dragon.  And I'm not so sure that he is DD after all.

Yeeeah, the men's rights movement began as a response to feminism in the early 70's. It's not exactly a positive feminism equivalent.

Generally speaking, men who are concerned by the unequal rights that men and women have are called "feminists."

And being a feminist man isn't the same thing as being a "mangina" as a lot of MRAs would like to call them.

I dislike the wording ("transgenders" vs "transgender people") but I agree with the message. However, I think it's slightly off the mark in its goal of getting cis folk to give a damn about trans* folk's struggles. I think a more effective sign would say something like "If your brother/sister/best friend/spouse/son/daughter/etc was transgender, would you get involved?"
