If you were ever born, in history, your parents chose not to have an abortion. After 1973 they couldn't be prosecuted for it, and your mother was likely to die as a result.

Technically speaking, if you were born alive, you're an abortion survivor.

If that is how broad and loose the anti-choice meme maker is defining it, one should point that out and post a counter-meme, "If you are reading this, you are a lightning strike survivor"...volcanic eruption survivor, asteroid strike survivor, tsunami survivor, ad infinitum. I got this sudden sick-humor mental image of a creepy preacher introducing a bible to a little kid, as if they were a puppy being trained to accept a leash, by rubbing the bible gently against their body, head and neck, while saying, "Gooooood bible! Goood boy!"

Agreed. If anything, they exist for patriotic indoctrination. Seriously, the pledge is fucking creepy when you realize small children are doing it and listen to the words.



I know it's a tad Godwin, but I'm not comparing it to the Nazis. I use this picture to jar people out of the "It's tradition" mindset to make it easier to point out how creepy it is for children, starting at the age of five, to simultaneously say the same loyalty oath, all in the same position, to a flag at the same time every morning, in an institution of learning, which should price free thought and not blind loyalty. They have no idea what they're saying. They're just mindlessly repeating a phrase that's being fed to them until they've absorbed it to their core. And that is fucking terrifying.

I have that router/ethernet box in the back, from Ubee. It's evil, but for completely different reasons.
