I thought it meant that the kids who drown in the sea between Europe and Africa are victims of their parents being greedy parasites who come to Europe to live like kings with the money the refugees get. But maybe I've just seen too much propaganda against refugees and migrants.

Even if they stereotype were true, it is perfectly logical. It just also happens to be greedy and sociopathic.

Compare Spock with the Borg. Both are logical, they just have different utility functions (let's ignore the occasional bad writing).
