Gun-rights advocates are often left to use of small town gun policies, like those in Kennesaw, Georgia, or of overzealous gun-control resulting in historically high levels of gun violence, like in Chicago, to demonstrate the utter failure of gun-control policies on crime reduction. Gun-control advocates often dismiss these cases, and maintain that causation cannot be proven due to a number of external variables, like culture or socio-economic conditions. Our goal is to provide direct empirical evidence that can identify any statistically significant relationships, and possibly even prove causation.

We have an operable pay-pal account, and are in the process of registering as a 501(c)(3) non-profit. The firearms will be purchased with donations to this site, and may cover other expenses that will be incurred in the process of the analysis portion of this project.
Questions
Who certified them to conduct gun safety courses and background checks?
What is to stop anyone who received a free gun from privately reselling it? Especially since they would need the money (high poverty area).
