As of today, I have been officially recognised as an Indigenous woman. It's awesome to come home.

I actually feel like I got actual real sleep. It's a fucking miracle. I just wish it felt like I got more than just a couple hours of uninterrupted sleep.

My 3D Modelling teacher has announced that my sadly unfinished model of a fictitious MP3 Player (which I plan to finish later) is not only exceptional, but is good enough to be displayed for future students as an example.

I am both in awe and annoyed, as I fear that may correspond with "Oh, damn. I didn't finish. Maybe if I do good enough my teacher might accept my unfinished assignment." for future students. I mean I'm happy my teacher was impressed, but not so happy with being an idol in this Family-Unfriendly Aesop. And this is from a teacher who worked in a lot of projects, and some of these projects were unfortunately crappy movies (oh, and did he share the horror stories working for them).

But you know, maybe it's not too much to crow about, as at least I've learned how to build those damn models from scratch with the help of reference images.

Last night my mom was screaming about how if I "push my agenda" (read: ask for correct pronouns) my boss is going to be so grossed out he'll dump me in the middle of the holiday rush. As it turns out, I don't have to ask for correct pronouns - my coworkers use them anyway. Faith in Humanity +1.
