I restocked on toilet paper, hand soap, dish washing liquid and body soap, for my roommate's benefit as well as mine. I feel like an adult who's worth something ^^

(then I noticed that my roommate had already bought toilet paper orz )

Meanwhile, SoFla is finally down to "T-shirts are so comfy" weather, rather than "OMFG gonna die" weather.  70's-80's, and humidity feels like it might finally drop below 80% soon!

I forgot how awesome it is to go to a very local mom and pop store staffed and patroned by hobbyists. Not only do you get that first world good feeling of small business shopping, but the education I got today made my head spin. You know, the guys who work there for the discount. Who spend 6 hours at work and then go home and spend another 3 hours doing it. And the friendlier customers  who'll happily help out a younger less experienced guy out.

I defend my thesis first thing tomorrow morning.  If it is accepted, I will finally have a Master's Degree after having been stuck on this fucking paper for years.

On a less positive note, I received an email today explaining that my defense should consist of a 15-20 minute presentation (PowerPoint optional), when I had expected to spend 5-10 minutes on it.  I just got home from work, and I present in 11 hours, so I should probably get on that.
