I am thankful for the food I got.
And it isn't really arbitrary but I wrote a small thing that I really am thankful for and I'm not just pandering:
I am grateful for the Navajo code talkers. Who helped make an unbreakable military code during World War 2 that was never cracked by the enemy.
I am also grateful for the Cherokee, Choctaw (who developed the World War 1 code talking that also went uncracked), Lakota, Meskwaki, and Comanche code talkers.
I am grateful for all of the Native Americans who are the literal unsung heroes of many wars, stretching back to the Revolutionary War.
As well as the civilians who helped the fledgling Americans even though the Americans paid them back with disease and death and theft.
