The funny thing is, you get gay republicans who openly support the republican party wholly when ti comes to the suppression of gay rights in America. These people are weird.

Which looks to be strictly economic, because he's got the major social issues covered. Hence Blue Dog Democrat. At least they wouldn't eat him alive like the Tea Party will.

They have no other ideas and stances that are not also Democratic stances at this point. The Democrats ARE the pre- Religious Right Republicans.
