I hear this phrase uttered by a few people but it's never said in a way that makes any fucking sense.
You take Amos, who's currently having an epic meltdown over his assertion that gays and lesbians cannot be monogamous in their relationships, which is true for a bunch of reasons:
1) scripture
2) it's TRUTH
3) a cut-and-pasted article he presented which talks about inflated risk of STDs among gay men in a study from 1988
4) gay relationships are NARCISSISM
Try bringing the guy down to earth to sweep away all this bullshit and he's left with THIS IS A CHRISTIAN FORUM.........
So Christians, in other words, believe that gays can't be monogamous because scripture, it's the truth, a Timothy J Dailey article says gays get more STDs, and narcissism.
And you say, well, it's Amos, are you expecting coherence? Ah, but you get this phrase from Doug Bristow who can't understand that gays can also be Christians and attend churches; from LadyInChrist, who never seems to have anything to say except she doesn't associate with Bob Rumba's henchmen, and from others.
What, I ask you, are the unifying beliefs of Christians if they're as nutty and scattered as this?
