What's the point of smashing avocado if you don't either put it on nachos or turn it into guacamole?  That's...just a waste.  Good for you, but a waste.

you mix it with lemon juice, salt and pepper (and perhaps some feta or a poached egg) put it on toast and have the breakfast which bankrupts millenials.

I prefer sliced avocados, myself.  (Also, now this is stuck in my head.)

I wish I could have avocado, but I'm very sensitive to it now (not allergic; I don't need epinephrine) and every time I eat it, even a small piece, I end up hacking up mucous for hours afterward. I used to love it, especially in California rolls or sliced in a sandwich with cream cheese. (Or as guacamole for dipping tortilla chips.)

It doesn't concern you, Sister, that kind of absolutist view of the universe? Right and wrong determined solely by a single all-knowing, all powerful being whose judgment cannot be questioned and in whose name the most horrendous acts can be sanctioned without appeal?

It's hard to say. Cruz is arguably just as dangerous as Trump. The difference is that the whole world except his supporters know that Trump is a buffoon. Cruz is dangerous and, like Nixon, cunning.
