This movie is a documentary in the same way
Endless Love was a romance film. I watched it expecting a thorough dissection of why America's in the state it's in. What I got was conspiracy theorist nonsense and railing against the Federal Reserve.
The people who made this movie make Michael Moore and James O'Keefe look fair and honest by comparison. This movie is crazy sensationalistic garbage. It repeats age-old canards and is full of logical fallacies. It completely misunderstands modern economics. It's got disquieting anti-Semitic subtext. And it even goes so far as to imply that the Fed killed JFK. I don't know if its makers are dishonest or completely out of touch with reality, but either way, it's not a good thing.
And you know what really sucks? On a technical level, it's actually pretty good. What a shame to see this talent go to waste.
