While we're on the subject of December holidays, I'd like to wish a happy Bodhi Day(which doesn't really need it's own thread) to everyone who cares.

So far, my Hanukkah presents consist of a really awesome switchblade my DM got me (he gives us all presents). I now own an actual weapon.

From my experience, the amount of presents I've gotten overall are the same as a typical stash of Christmas presents.

Same. Of course, my dad's Catholic, so my family also celebrates Christmas, which means I get twice the presents.

My family doesn't celebrate Christmas but my Catholic grandmother insists on giving us Christmas gifts anyway. I got some books that I wanted. We don't get big presents every single night. Usually we have a lot of small gifts instead of one big gift.

Nice! I once got a claymore for Christmas, because my parents are just crazy enough.

My wife is Jewish, at least by birth, but she's even more gung-ho on Christmas than I am.

I spent the first night of Chanukah getting trashed at my brother's place.  That's how we roll.

Happy Hannukkah (or whatever your holiday of choice happens to be)!

Personally, I celebrate Decemberween. It lasts the entire month, and encompasses all the winter holidays as well as my birthday.
It has the added benefit of allowing me to give gifts at my leisure, instead of having to worry about a specific deadline.
