Please, please, please someone explain to me ...everything about this storyline and how it relates to children:

Of course Lady Checkmate is quick to blame the "alt-left" for this, as always, but...I'm so baffled I can't even speak.  How do children enter into this at all?

I'm only surprised she didn't try to work something about homosexuality into it.
