Basically, a girl who grew up in the Quiverfull movement is out, and heading to college. Her parents are so dead set against her getting an education that they refuse to sign her FAFSA.
She's trying to get a scholarship. Her essay is

Her goal in getting an education is one that I think everyone here can get behind. Read the essay, maybe vote on it. A scholarship would mean the world to this girl, and may contribute to a long-deserved end to the Patriarchy movement.
