So I was just curious as to the general age demographics of the site. As such, I'm conducting a survey, with the option to withhold an answer for whatever reason.
I'm 25.

I'm 20.

30 since yesterday. It's all downhill from here, I've been told.
-
I will not give my exact age, but I am probably the youngest person on this board.
-
21
You know, I thought you were older than me.
-
Older then the stars alight in heaven. Older then the darkness in between them. Older then the very gods themselves!
Ironbite-oh I'm 28

12?
-
29, turning 30 in Nov.
-
I was seventeen until about 5 days ago.
18 is weird thus far. It scares me.
*hugs* There's really nothing to be scared of. It may look like a mountain, but it's really more like stepping up a curb on a sidewalk.
Also: heheh, "member" age "poll".
-
I will not give my exact age, but I am probably the youngest person on this board.
12?
No, I'm an 8-year-old child prodigy.
-
79.
And a half.

I'm 24 here, turning 25 in December.

Er...

Yeah. I do not act my age nor do I want to.

If 28 is that old, what does that make me? Dead?

I suppose it makes you the resident lich.

Seeing as how I'm 33, I'm a Junior Lich.
Old Viking is the Lich King.
-
23 until December
and I thought many of you were older than you are

36 though mentally, I'm still a teenager, or younger.
I mean I still watch cartoons, go to Toys R Us, and last night I sat on the living room floor playing Legos.
To use a disney quote; "I am NEVER growing up!"

I don't wanna grow up, I'm a Toys "R" Us kid~
Also, Tai is 25 years, 7 months, 19 days, 2 hours, and 5 minutes old as of this minute.
-
Put me down as a lich, I'll be 35 in April.
-
32, which apparently makes me some sort of demi-lich...

29 here.

Demiliches are actually older than ordinary liches, reaching that state when their years of inaction causes their body to decay into dust, leaving only their skull.

Hmm, How to put this... Word of advice: stay away from Lake Silencio.
Also, I am 12 years old and what is this?
-
I've probably covered 5-6 years here; I can't even remember when I joined exactly. But really, when I started I never imagined I'd still be on forums at 24.

I'm 903 years old and I'm the man who is gonna save your lives and all 6 billion people on the planet below. You got a problem with that?
AKA thanks for catching the reference. ;)
-
27. Until July. :-\
-
45 and the only one in my range in the poll...
They say if you don't grow up by the age of 50, you don't have to. That is my goal.
-
Just turned 29.

Well happy belated birthday. Did you get anything nice?

Same here, amigo. :) *high-fives Stick Boy* As for me, I was born a little over 39 years ago, but eh, what the hell that has to do with anything, I'm not too sure. :P *shrugs*
-
58 - and I have the scars to prove it!
-
16 turned it last August.
-
I turned 30 today. Not much of a milestone to celebrate.

I'm 23.

I always forget that you're almost 40. My brain just seems to want to think that you're about a decade younger than that.

00011101 in computer years.

I turned 23 last month.
Mentally I'm 16, and have been since I was 16.
-
I'm 34. :) I'll be 35 in the summer. Have to say that a) never thought I'd make it to see the 30s and b) they're way more fun than I had any idea!

Congratulations you've totally outlived Jesus. I'm 32.
-
I turned 21 a month ago.

Someone told me your 30s are actually better than your 20s. In your 20s you're anxious because you still haven't managed to find a job other than fast food, you still can't afford to move out, you have no idea what you want to do with your life, and everything out.
I really hope 30s are better.
-
Just one caveat... if you lose your job in your 30s, it's right back to feeling like you're in your 20s... or even teens.

I sure hope so, my 20's have been a bust, and I turn 30 at the end of the year.

Do you still look like you could pass for a college student? :)
How's the son anyway?

Granted, sometimes life issues get in the way, but I'd have to agree with that sentiment. My 20s were not necessarily "bad," but I have a much better sense of where I'm going and what I want -- and whether I give two craps about what someone else thinks, lol. It's a more comfortable and powerful feeling. While there is always the possibility of job loss, etc., I feel I'm much more emotionally, mentally and honestly financially prepared to deal with something like that. I've had a measure of career success, so I feel a whole lot more confident about the potential success of some plan I want to make. I don't get "bottomed out" by things like I did when I was in my early 20s. And I can honestly say that as someone who's had a round of getting rid of a cancer threat as well as going through a divorce in my thirties. Even still, it's been better because I deal with things much better. So far, so good!
Armand, I guess the whole "looking like a college student" thing is in the eye of the beholder, lol. My boy is doing great -- 14 1/2 years old now, hitting a big growth spurt, so eating everything in sight. He went from being just under my height to five inches taller than me in less than a year -- ugh!
-
I've found that my levels of confidence and overall happiness have gone up dramatically in my 20s from where they were in my teens, so it does make sense that ones 30s would see the same increase in both areas.
-

Yes, 1977 was a good year!
I knew we were close in age DV, I never realized we were the same age.

On the subject of July birthdays, my sister's birthday is in July, the 11th, she was born about 9 or 10 days before the moon landing in 1969.
Also, are there any November babies in here other than me??
-
Oi, I was born on the 17th anniversary of the moon landing.

November 10 here.
And now I got Gordon Lightfoot (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Wreck_of_the_Edmund_Fitzgerald) stuck in my head. Sorry, but you’d have trouble ridding yourself of that association if you’d studied the play Ten November in high school, too.
-
If anyone is wondering it's November 28th for me
-
I know a damn lot of people with birthdays in November. My entire family have their birthdays in November, except for me.
-

August 11. I'm a kitty. Roar.
-
I'm a pair of fish, apparently.
-
Better than Libra. The only inanimate object in the western zodiac.
-
I'm a Centaur

Ram here.

I'm a water-bearer. Anyone thirsty?

I'm pisces. What do you think? :P
-
I'm right between Pisces and Aries. I think the updated chart is only supposed to be applied for the last few years, but I'm pretty sure the dates have been wrong for a lot longer than that. So I'm probably supposed to be Pisces.
-
I'm still a Leo with the updated chart too... so... Mew.
-
When did this turn into the zodiac thread? But I'm a Cancer.
-
I'm a Taurus. You know what they say about the bull!
-
Aquarius.

Tropical Zodiac: Capricorn
Sidereal Zodiac: Sagittarius

54 here, another November birthday (3rd). I was born the day that the USSR sent a dog into space. Luckily, my parents didn't name me after her! :D
I am living proof of the adage posted by Stick Boy, that if you haven't grown up by the age of 50, you don't have to! ;D
I dress up as a pirate on Fridays, my wheelchair is covered in pirate stickers and toys (with cutlasses in the wheels) and my walking sticks have hobby-horse heads on them. I play Pokémon (and have done since Red and Blue came out) and other GameBoy and DS games.
I try to find a way of getting enjoyment out of something every day.
As Elwood P. Dowd puts it:
"Well, I've wrestled with reality for 35 years, Doctor, and I'm happy to state I finally won out over it."
"I always have a wonderful time, wherever I am, whomever I'm with."
"Years ago my mother used to say to me, she'd say, "In this world, Elwood, you must be" - she always called me Elwood - "In this world, Elwood, you must be oh so smart or oh so pleasant." Well, for years I was smart. I recommend pleasant. You may quote me."
-
You share a birthday with my mom. O_o weirdddd
-
I am not your mother! :o
I also share my birthday with one of my grandsons.
And Lulu.
-
I'd hope not. She's slightly older and not in Australia...
-
I share a birthday with one of my nation's public holidays. It's fun to have a break from school/uni/work every year.
