That's a pretty rat, but it DOES NOT belong in Florida!

I hate when people release unwanted pets into the wild.  It's always either bad for the pets, bad for the local environment, or both.

How are you guys dealing with the Burmese Python invasion?

Yeah, pets should be kept at home or if they roam outside, the should be neutered. Even unaltered dogs and cats lead to environmental problems, and many end up killed or diseased. In the end, neutering is good for the pets and the environment.

I just thought of a way to get rid of the rats.

We're basically encouraging hunters to kill any they come across.  Pythons don't belong in the Everglades, and are killing off our alligators.

You're not a rat. You're a mouse. A really BIG mouse!

I just had two conflicting reactions to this.

"NOOO NOT THE PYTHONS! D:"

And

"NOOO, POOR GATORS! D:"

Oh well gee, thanks. Glad I'm welcome in Florida. *huff*

Yay! \o/ Not sure I'd be able to let someone just kill a snake in front of me tho. I still have nightmares from when grandpa took an axe to a garden snake.
