From what I've seen Both the artists, writers, and managers in DC are a bunch of sexist, racist, Kneckbeards.

So yeah, I while I'm disappointed, I'm not at all surprised at how stupid and shortsighted they're being.

Um, did you read the link you posted? They didn't block it because they wanted to be paid, they blocked it because they think it's a bad idea to associate their character with child abuse.

The reasoning is stupid, considering all the negative PR they get for it, but it's not about money.

Yeah, read about Gail quitting after posting that. It's still pretty ironic that she worked for them for so long. It also makes me less interested in getting back into comics as her name was an instant buy for me.
