I have to admit that I don't know jack shit about this whole fiscal thing and I don't have a TV, but still reading about it here and elsewhere it scares me because I am someone who is dependent on the government's social programs and that seems to be the one thing that they always want to cut.

Social programs to Congress are like oil with water, they hate each other.
