I was once a very optimistic history major. Then I graduated, realized that there are approximately zero jobs out there for me, and now am spending more money to get a second degree. (Sim, too. Also my sister). Not saying any of this will happen to you, but it's now my person life mission to warn everyone against the horrors of this degree.

Hello.  I am still Xotan.

I am that which I am - and aging male (69, but still 21 in my head), in excellent health and with a generally bright outlook on life; gay all my life, contented with it, living now in southern France, but preparing to marry my partner of 39 years in about 9 weeks time in our home country which has dragged itself into the 21st century at last. 

Interests:

 - Music (choral, piano, organ); choral composition; choirs
 - Poetry
 - History
 - Travel
 - Reading
 - Writing
 - Languages
 - Good Food with Good Wine in Good Company
