But not necessarily as well. The text adds a lot of clutter.
But then, I suppose the artist may be attempting to reach some of those audiences that need everything explained to them. In that case, it only does work with the labels.
On the other hand, I've seen a ton of political cartoons (in this very thread) that pretty much need labels because people are unrecognizable, or the imagery is so vague that only hipsters get it.
Or perhaps there's people out there that just aren't aware of every political event happening at once, like me. Because I'm too cheap to pay for a subscription to a newsletter.
To be honest, I didn't even really notice the Triilions in Bailouts/Tax Avoidance too much. I mean, I saw them, I read them, but they didn't catch my eye or anything.
