Is there too religious talk coming from politicians? A survey released by the Pew Research Center March 21st indicates that nearly 4 out of 10 (38%) Americans now think so. While at first glance that may not seem like a very impressive number, it is not only an all-time high for the 10 years that Pew has been asking the question, it represents a complete reversal from the last survey in 2010. At that time Pew found that 37% of Americans thought there was too little religious talk from politicians. That number has now dropped to 29%. The survey also indicated that, while the increase in the number of Americans thinking there is "too much" religious talk crossed party lines, Democrats hold this view more than Republicans (52% vs. 27%). Within the Republican demographic, the results also indicated that this view was less popular among Rick Santorum's supporters (16%) than Mitt Romney's (33%)
That may be the single gayest thing I have ever read on this board. Or the old one.
