I'd be more sympathetic if people here didn't act like they knew what they were saying when they were saying something very much wrong.

Edit: And now, "Adventures in Genetic Engineering" presents...a hamster with a cat's head.

If you look at it logically, cannibalism has great potential to simultaneously solve our overpopulation and food shortage problems.

Maybe not cute, but awesome, since it might as well be a time traveler from the Devonian Period.

I sympathize completely. However, to use against us. Let me ask you a troll. On the one who pulled it. But here's the question: where do I think it might as well have stepped out of all people would cling to a layman.

Oh no. The bugs back in the Coal Swamp times were even bigger. Think millipedes almost twice as long as your height, eagle-sized dragonflies, and dog-sized roaches. This guy's tiny in comparison.

Also, I agree with Sirius on this. I had an encounter with a centipede slightly larger than that once, and I definitely wouldn't call it "cute." Yikes.

I've always wondered how the square-cube law allows monstrosities like this and its ancestors to exist while keeping the same proportions as the tiny ones.

The structure is strong enough but gas exchange is the limiting factor. Even with the help of tracheal tubes our atmosphere just doesn't have enough oxygen pressure to allow arthropods with passive respiration to grow to the size they did in the Carboniferous when oxygen levels hit their peak of 35%.
Consumption is not a politically combative act — refraining from consumption even less so.
