This is sad to see. And I prefer not to do the whole "Republicans teabaggers GUNS GUNS blah blah blah" nonsense when we're still getting facts about the story. It's kinda irritating and disrespectful.

Civilian gun laws don't enter into this. I'm going to assume those weapons were taken from a military armory. So the military might want to take another look at keeping track of its guns, and of course we really need to reform our mental healthcare system.
