I've spent more time hacking Borderlands 2 (for the 360) saves for my brother than I have actually playing the game. In my defense, seeing the shit I can create is very fun, like an assault rifle with a minigun on the end, instead of a regular barrel.
Also, two words: HYPERION. PARTS. Best in the game.
I'm pretty sure that Vladof already has assault rifles with miniguns instead of a standard barrel. Also, is there any point in modding the game? I mean this in terms of weapons, I never got the point of doing so. Why not just make yourself the most uber ultimate weapon possible?
Aye, Vladof has the minigun assault rifle. And...I wouldn't know, I'm not modding the game itself, just the saves. Also, why mod the weapons, instead of just making an infinity + 1 gun? One, I don't know how; the way the weapons are setup in the save structure, its not as simple as just typing in "Hyperion Sniper, dmg 10000000000000000000." You've got to individually select the parts that are tacked on to the gun, thankfully, the program I use knows which parts are compatible with which guns, manufacturers, and gun types, so that takes some of the guesswork out of it, but there's still a lot there. Which leads me to number two, its fun! Not knowing what you're going to get, experimenting with various combinations of parts...you never know if you're going to strike out, strike gold, or find that one really, really weird gun that's almost impossible to get naturally. One that's so unique, nobody else has it, and it outstrips everything else in its class, because you managed to find that 1 in 1,000,000 ultra-winning combination.
Its all about the journey, my friend.
