Hatred could have been interesting if it was meant as an over the top parody or deconstruction of what some people who don't understand video games think games are (would also help if it was released 10 years ago when they were relevant, but I digress), but the fact that it's supposed to be taken seriously makes it look just plain childish.
And the dev's claim that the game isn't political is such a load of horseshit. It was created by the same mentality that lead to black metal. It's a poor taste statement of their belief that games shouldn't be art or try to have any level of depth.
