I think I mentioned this before but some people don't out and out deny that the Holocaust existed but rather on what scale. Why? Because some people can't wrap their mind around such massive atrocities.

With that said... if anyone is curious about what some deniers are reading this site holds a lot of the different theories and 'papers' and 'research' that is being touted around.

Because they have this persecution complex and admitting the holocaust happened would mean there would be other, more significant, victims.

So to them, Hitler was just a nice guy who neither invaded other countries in violation of their sovereignty nor committed the most well known act of genocide in history. I just wonder what they could do if all that effort spent on mental gymnastics was used productively.

I remember someone in my JROTC class wouldn't sit still or be quiet during the pledge (and I don't mean they couldn't. I mean they wouldn't and they'd mutter about how stupid it was). I had to wonder why they were in JROTC if they couldn't stand at attention for a few seconds or even wanted to say the pledge. It was fine with the Chief if someone didn't want to but you did have to come to attention for it. It was JROTC for crying out loud.

I remember I didn't stand to do the pledge once, and the kid behind me started screaming his head off at me, calling me a "socialist." Which was ironic, because the original Pledge of Allegiance was written by a socialist.
